about McKinley Square:

A beautiful park cresting Potrero Hill, which means you can alternately play in the playground there or just stand and take in the surrounding cityscape. A patch of green grass just outside the playground is nice for kicking around a ball or playing tag. Best of all, it's almost always sunny in this part of town and the parking is easy.

tips:

Best for little kids; bring sand toys for the nice big cement-lined sandbox.

getting there:

From Market, take 16th street east, turn right on Kansas, turn right on 20th street. Parking is easy.
