about Meadowlark Gardens:

Meadowlark Gardens houses 95 acres of ornamental display gardens and unique native plant collections, including more than twenty varieties of cherry trees, irises, peonies, azaleas, lilacs, an extensive shade garden, native wildflowers, and an interactive children's garden. The grounds contain 3 1/2 miles of paved walking trails, three lakes, three gazebos, a picnic area, and an historic log cabin (dating to 1755). Inside the Visitor Center are conservation and plant diversity displays, a gift shop, a library, and a large fireplace. The Atrium has an indoor tropical garden setting and is available for meetings, receptions, weddings, and workshops. Meadowlark presents gardening and horticulture workshops, tours, field trips, concerts, volunteer programs, and Abrakadoodle classes. The Discovery Creek Children's Museum holds classes and summer camps here as well.
