Each room has an oversized Whirlpool Tub, which can be a treat for younger kids and a godsend for parents at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The staff is courteous and helpful, doing their best to make guests as comfortable as possible, and they greet guests, especially children, with a smile. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and patio area and an indoor fountain in the lobby, welcoming visitors with a little taste of the French Quarter. Most weekend nights, the fountain area in the lobby hosts DJs and dance music until about 11pm, which can be loud. However, just ask, and the staff is more than happy to place guests in rooms far enough from the lobby that the music shouldn't prevent children from being able to sleep.
