About Mesa Arts Center
From performing arts to visual arts to art education, the seven-acre Mesa Arts Center is the largest and most comprehensive arts center in Arizona.
The theater complex houses four theaters, a box office, and supporting facilities. The theaters host national touring acts, Broadway shows, pop music concerts, world and ethnic artists, dance, and family entertainment.
The Mesa Contemporary Arts visual arts complex features changing exhibitions, installations, and works of contemporary art from emerging and internationally recognized artists. Check our event calendar for exhibit descriptions.
Two studio buildings contain 14 visual and performing arts studios and classrooms providing multi-discipline instruction for children and adults. Stageworks, the center's family theater company, produces plays and provides workshops, extensive community outreach performances, and a summer arts day camp. - I had good luck with classes simultaneous with kids ages 3-6, but by the time you got the kids onto the complex, especially walking with a 2 year old, it would take the whole class time to get off and back on to the location. There is no comfortable place to wait with kids or no, and no place to klatch with other parents while waiting.
