An authentic rodeo experience is what folks find at the Mesquite Championship Rodeo - complete with barrel-ridin', calf-ropin', cotton-candy-eatin' kind of fun. For something really wild, the kids can join the kids' calf scramble. All willing kids are assembled in the arena, and on the "go" they're released to try and catch a calf. Now that's entertainment! Rodeo season runs from April through September. In addition to cowboy rodeo entertainment, a petting zoo offers pony rides for the little buckaroos. A gift shop is strategically located at the front, so be prepared to be side-tracked for a souvenir.
