Miami-Dade Transit is responsible for Miami's
Metrobus. Maps and schedules can be downloaded from the
website, or you can call
Transit Information at 305.891.3131. Information agents are available Mon-Fri 7am-8pm and Sat 8am-5pm. The office is closed Sun and on holidays.
Hours of operation vary by route. Check the website for specific times.
Bus service runs from as far south as Florida City, and north to Miami Beach. From downtown Miami, west to Kendall and the Mall of the Americas.
To ride
Metrorail one must obtain an EASY Card or EASY Ticket at one of the vending machines located at the entrance of each rail station. Cards can also be purchased
online.
Discounted fares are offered to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and students in grades 1-12 (grades 7-12 require student ID). Preschoolers less than 42 inches tall travel free at all times with an adult (taller than 42 inches requires a preschooler permit). Check the
website for information on applying for a discount-fare EASY Card.
