The Miami Art Museum shares the Cultural Center with the Miami-Dade Public Library and The Historical Museum of Southern Florida.
Museum-goers experience art in new and interactive ways at MAM. During free Second Saturday programs, museum teachers lead families in educational, hands-on activities inspired by works on view. JAM at MAM offers evenings of art, entertainment, and atmosphere the third Thursday of every month.
The museum's summertime MAM in the Neighborhood program brings free workshops and art activities to camps and community centers and also offers the option of free museum visits for the participating group. The program fills up fast, so if your camp or community center is interested, contact the museum at 305.375.4073.
Membership is available at several levels and benefits include free admission, newsletter subscription, museum store discounts and invitations to special events.
Parking: The Cultural Center Garage has six floors of secure, enclosed parking for $5 when ticket is stamped at MAM.

From North: Take I-95 southbound. Exit at Orange Bowl NW 8th Street (exit 5A). Turn left onto NW 2nd Street. Turn right onto NW 2nd Avenue. From South: Take I-95 northbound. Exit at NW 2nd Street (exit 4) and turn right. Turn right again at NW 2nd Avenue. From East: Take I-395/MacArthur Causeway. Exit left onto Biscayne Blvd. Turn right onto Flagler Street. Turn right onto NW 2nd Avenue. From West: Go east on Flagler Street. Turn left onto NW 2nd Avenue.
From Metrorail: Exit at Government Center. Walk south one-half block.
