Cruise down the aisles at Michaels Arts & Crafts Store and you can't help but be inspired by some of the projects that you can do at home with the kids. Sometimes it's a real lifesaver to stock up ahead of time on project materials for those long rainy afternoons. Every weekend, the store hosts its Kids Club Imagination Saturday. These 30-minute craft activities for ages five to 12 are supervised from 10am-12n on Saturdays only. Crafts are seasonally appropriate and usually appeal to both boys and girls. Michaels has also introduced a kids' program, The Knack, which gives participants access to exclusive online projects, special promotions, offers, and sweepstakes. Party packages include one of 11 pre-selected projects, or you can "create your own package" with Michaels' party planners.
