We didnâ??t think it was possible to have so much fun taking pictures, especially with 9 month old twins boys!

Midori has a way of making you feel comfortable and almost forget that you are taking picturesâ?¦..it was just an amazing experience.

The pictures came out beautifully, not only online but even more so on print. I would definitely recommend Midori to my friends.

Midori is the best. She has a real gift in knowing how to "go with the flow". She can sense the child's anxiety or areas of playfulness and will run with it. Midori is very instinctual, its all in her body language. It's sort of cute watching her wrangle with the camera while her right brain is obviously running the show. You should ask her about her watercolor work!

We had the opportunity to work with Midori in March of 2009, a few days after our daughter was born. Midori was patient and kind while taking fantastic photos. Since she regularly works with newborns nothing surprises her and she is ready for anything! She has an artistic eye, a great attention to detail and is very creative. We were incredibly pleased with the results of the session; Midori captured the precious moments perfectly. We highly recommend Midori without reservation and look forward to working with her again in the future as our daughter grows up.

Midori is a very talented photographer—her fine arts background is evident in her compositions. I was recommended to Midori for our newborn’s portrait and have since recommended her to other friends. Since our original session with Midori, we have gone back to her two other times in the past year and a half to document our daughter’s growth and capture the changes in her personality. For comparison sake, we’ve also looked at other photographers but believe Midori has a more artistic eye than most. We’ve had both indoor/studio and outdoor sessions, the latter capturing the changes of the season. My husband and I are very detail-oriented and Midori has been very accommodating. She also has a very high quality bar. Our family and friends have been excited to see the digital proofs from each of our sessions. Overall, we have been very pleased. Midori always manages to capture the positive spirit of our daughter even when she hasn’t been always been a perfect subject. Indeed, Midori is extremely patient and determined to get the shot. We’ve left sessions with Midori on a couple occasions thinking that there was no way she had gotten a viable shot (due to our daughter’s lack of “cooperation”), only to end up with a great selection of photos a few days later. We recommend Midori highly.

...beautifully on film. Midori did not force stiff or awkward poses upon my 2 boys (6 and 4 yrs). She was able to take great pictures of my kids' interacting with each other and the camera. She has a great eye for detail and made everyone comfortable during the photo session. I was surprised and very pleased that she was able to take wonderful pictures of even my youngest son who has autism. He normally refuses to have his picture taken and can never sit still at a formal photo session...and Midori was able to capture his fun-loving personality and a love for bubbles. Thanks Midori!

Taking pictures of our four small boys ages 3-7 is no easy task. Midori was calm through the entire process, and the end results are beautiful. She captured their personalities in their photographs, without the pictures looking overly posed. The colors are strong and vibrant and we are so pleased with the pictures!
