The 6,300-seat Midway Stadium is home to the St. Paul Saints minor league baseball team, and hosts municipal athletics, college and high school football and baseball games, and other special events.
Truth be told, Midway is considered one of the worst ballparks in the American Association. But that doesn't keep the fans away - in fact, it's part of the place's charm.
The ballpark features concession stands, restrooms, locker rooms, and, on the right-field side, a KidZone children's play area. The park also hosts special events, such as Screen on the Green movie nights and Trash and Treasure community yard sales.
Areas of the parking lot accommodating about 50 people or more can be rented for tailgating parties before home games; fees start at $45. Call 651.644.6659 for a reservation form.

Avoid right-field seats on sunny days - it's brutal there!
getting there:
West of Snelling Avenue. Heed the well-enforced restrictions for parking on Energy Drive. The best bet for parking is to select from one of the $5 lots close to the park. The adjoining lot ($6) fills early with tailgaters.
