Mill Stream Run Reservation sprawls through parts of Berea, Middleburg Heights, North Royalton, and Strongsville, and the East Branch of the Rocky River that runs through the reservation is noted for its spring trout fishing.
While this Cleveland Metroparks property is probably best known for its exciting
Toboggan Chutes, it is also the site of autumn
hayrides and many year-round activities.
Beyond the chutes, the park's attractions include fitness and
hiking trails, a
sledding hill, nearly a dozen picnic areas and shelters, and
Wallace Lake, which is located at Valley Parkway, just south of Bagley Road in Berea.
At Wallace Lake,
swimming is permitted (and lifeguards are on duty) from mid-June through mid-August, and paddle boats and one-person kayaks can be rented. The office (440.826.1682 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 440.826.1682 end_of_the_skype_highlighting) that oversees recreational swimming and boating is also open seasonally.
