About Millennium Park
Developed on the site of the former Gardner Street landfill, Millennium Park opened on November 18, 2000. The park is larger than the Boston Common and the Public Garden combined.
The park has picnic areas and play structures, walking and biking trails, and access to the river for canoeing or fishing. The entire park is handicap-accessible.

- Awesome park for those with children that can not yet walk. The best I've encountered so far. Parking is minimal so it's best to travel there by the T. I do however always seem to find a parking spot diagonally across the street from Joe's American Bar & Grill (outside the gym). The aquarium is practically right around the corner, so you can go check out the seals swimming around in the outside tank. Also it is right by the North End and Faneuil Hall so it's a fun "around town" day trip. My son was 10 months when we first went there and he had so much fun crawling around the structure. Also, the structure is wide enough to both supervise your baby and let the older toddlers run about. It seems to be the spot where lot's of infants hang with their parents and caregivers. Love this park! :)
