The Minskoff Theatre features hand-painted, gold-leaf sculpted tableaus that adorn the expansive interior walls and showcase panoramic views of Broadway. Inside a huge lobby, escalators take you to the Grand Foyer on the third level for coat checking and concessions. Another escalator then takes you to the fourth level, which is the orchestra of the 1597 seat theater.
The fire code decrees that the two side sections in the orchestra, far left and far right, include bars that prevent folks who are sitting on the center aisle to exit from their seats - instead, they must exit left or right, importuning fellow theater goers for no good reason.
The overhang from the balcony also impedes vision in the side orchestra sections. And the acoustics are extremely bad.
Bathrooms have five stalls only - one set of bathrooms is available on each side of the orchestra, and one bathroom set serves the entire mezzanine/balcony.
The theater is fully wheelchair-accessible and air-conditioned.
