Music educator and singer/songwriter Lori Scherling Turner presents Music Monkey Jungle, a music and movement education program for little music monkeys and the primates who love them.

Music Monkey Jungle - a Nickelodeon's Parents' Picks nominee for Best Party Entertainment in the Philadelphia area - specializes in fun, original, educational lyrics that focus on musical concepts, movement, dance, friendship, family, and food. The program offers CDs and videos, as well as live community building performances, school assemblies, private lessons, group lessons, and camp and library shows.

The Jewish division of Music Monkey Jungle, Kinderlach Rock, is comprised of fun, original, educational lyrics that are centered around Jewish principles, ideas, and traditions. Through Kinderlach Rock, Music Monkey Jungle designs music curricula for Jewish preschools, teaches Jewish music classes called Music Ima & Me, and offer CDs, videos, school assemblies, private lessons, group lessons, and birthday parties with a Jewish flair.

We have loved Miss Scherling for years. We first met her in Trader Joe's where she got us gooving over our sushi and pretzels! She has kept us dancing and learning ever since. I know she's the top when the kids shout for her music in the car even before they are buckled!!! Thanks Miss Scherling for making music fun (and educational).

Lori is awesome! We have gone to her "Milk and Cookies" show too many times to mention! She is entertaining, fun and her songs are creative and witty. What a great way to spend some family time!

I have only wonderful things to say about Lori Miss Scherling the person and the entertainer. Lori gives our 3 1/3 year old private music lessons on a weekly basis. He is reading music thanks to Lori and he adores her sense of humor. Our family looks forward to our lessons. She takes the time to teach parents about music as well so that we can continue to foster our child's love for music at home. She is very intune (no pun intended) to what children need and what is working. She also performed at our son's birthday party. She was a hit! As difficult as it is to keep little ones on task, she is a master at keeping children involved in her performances. We also enjoy listening to Lori's CDs in the car and Lori's "Milk and Cookie's Show" at Milkboy Coffee in Ardmore at 10 am on Sundays. If there was an official "Miss Scherling Fan Club" we'd be in it!

We chose to have Lori do our children's birthday party this year after months of loyal attendance to her music shows and she did a fabulous performance. The kids (and adults) were singing and dancing along to her catchy and upbeat music.

Miss Scherling has a cult-like following, and should! There are very few kids' artists that I can think of putting in my car and enjoying. She teaches the kids to appreciate music and gets parents to have fun with their kids. It's a great experience to go to her shows!

Miss Scherling puts on a show that my daughter and I can both enjoy. The lyrics are clever and the tunes are quite catchy. I like the way she keeps a crowd in order. The kids love and respect her!

Miss Scherling Sings the Hits is a fantastic program for children of all ages! Her ability to entertain and involve the entire audience is amazing and well worth the price of admission.

My five-year-old loves to go to Miss Scherling's Milk and Cookies Show. We had her come for a birthday party and my daughter was thrilled. She puts on a fun and educational show.

My daughter had a special Brownie/Girl Scout event at Saxby's Coffee in Lansdale and Miss Scherling was the entertainment. Her troop had a blast singing and dancing. Miss Scherling also invited the girls to sing some of their Brownie songs. It was a great time for all ages!!!

Miss Scherling's Milk & Cookies Show at the MilkBoy Coffee cafes in Ardmore and Bryn Mawr have become a favorite way for me to relax with my small children. Miss Scherling encourages the kids and their parents to sing and dance. The children love her, storming the stage to dance to songs like "Little Music Monkey" and "Don't Let Your Cookie Crumble". Miss Sherling's music has plenty of humor and is enjoyable for both children and parents. We bought her CD "Miss Sherling Sings the Hits" and have spent many hours dancing, hopping, and stomping around our dining room table. While both of my children, ages three and six, enjoy the music, there are many more toddlers than older children at the MilkBoy shows (maybe because of the older kids' busier schedules). At the end of the show, warm cookies are passed around for every age to enjoy. P.S. MilkBoy Coffee has great coffee for the grownups - a treat I always look forward to.

My family and I have seen Miss Scherling at several locations. We came upon her accidently one Saturday night in Media and have been big fans since. My entire family, from me (37 years old) to my one-year-old daughter, enjoy ourselves from start to finish. She makes the show fun for the kids as well as the adults, getting everyone up to dance and sing along. She is very interactive with the children, asking them questions and getting them involved in the songs.
