Located right near the Catamaran Resort, the Mission Bay Sports Center rents watersports equipment and hosts a variety of water sport classes including sailing, catamaran sailing, kyaking, boogie boarding, water safety, waterskiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, ocean surfing and multi-sports. Jet-skis and individual instruction are also available.
One of the more popular classes offered is Beginning Sailing for adults and children over 14, a 6-hour course which provides a quick how-to on sailing and promises to have students "soloing" a 14' sloop by day's end.
Summer camps are offered for children 6-16 years in various watersports. Camps are half-day, extended day care is available.
The Sports Center also hosts themed birthday parties.

From I-8 exit at West Mission Bay Drive towards Sports Arena Blvd. Turn right onto W Mission Bay Dr. Turn right onto Mission Blvd. Turn right onto Santa Clara Place. The Sailing Center is on the bay.
