Mommies in Motion offers full body conditioning classes held outdoors at beautiful TY Park for new moms & their babies ages six weeks and up. Advance registration is not required. Be sure to bring along drinking water and a towel.

From I-95, take the Sheridan St West exit to Park Road. Turn right & the park entrance is on right side. The class meets in front of the park office.

Kim does an excellent job of motivating the Mom's to get an amazing workout. It is also a nice way to meet other new and not so new mothers. Highly recommend it!
Having a baby is incredible! But it also has done some not so incredible things to my body. I was eager to get back into shape but finding time was a problem and the thought of leaving my daughter to do so was uncomfortable to say the least. "Working out with your baby" is a great concept and the answer to my problem. Kim, the instructor, really pushes us and with fresh ideas all the time. We are never bored! "It's no walk in the park" - come prepared to work - but it is definetly a good time! Great people who motivate each other and great activity. We really DO have fun and you can't help but feel good about yourself after a strong push! What more could you ask for?
One the best classes for getting Mom back in shape and your are able to be with your child or children outside at the same time. You also meet a great group of Mom and Kids. Kim the instructor is really motivating. She keeps us on the move!!
I have been taking this class for a year and a half, ever since my daughter was six weeks old. I lost all my baby weight plus a few extra pounds and had fun doing it! Kim, the instructor, is constantly finding new ways to motivate us and keep the class exciting. Not only have I gotten into excellent shape, but I met an amazing group of women that I will stay friends with for a long time. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to exercise with their baby/toddler.
This is the best way of getting in shape after having a baby. It's a complete workout for the whole body and you do everything at your own pace! The trainer Kim is a wonderful person and make sure you are doing as much as you can do! It's also a great way of meeting other moms with children at the same age as yours. I managed to loose a lot more weight than I ever did, and I ended weighing less than I did before having my baby!
I am in the best shape of my life thanks to Kim and Mommies In Motion. This is definitely not just a walk in the park. The best part is that I get to workout WITH my child in a beautiful park and have fun doing it.
