about Moscone Recreation Center:

Definitely one of our favorite small parks, this flat four-block park contains four baseball diamonds, two groups of tennis courts, two basketball court areas, a gymnasium, two putting greens, and a playground. The state-of-the-art playground attracts toddlers on up to 10-year-olds with its vast array of shiny new equipment. Coaches at this Recreation Center are unusually talented and parents line up for hours to sign up kids for some of the sports programs. The center was renovated in 2008.

getting there:

The 30 Bus runs along Chestnut; parking in this commercial district is very tough.
