You and your kids will love swimming, skating, or learning at this full service community center located in Mt. Scott Park. Clean and plush, its most recent renovation was completed in 2000. Topping a laundry list of exciting features are a two-pool aquatic center, fitness room with cardio-circuit machines, and roller rink. The complex also includes a gymnasium, auditorium, and kitchen. Parents with little ones will especially enjoy the family changing rooms that include a bench, shower, toilet, and sink. There is something for every age group here. The community center offers a variety of interesting classes ranging from art and theater to basketball and self-defense. Though pre-registration is required for most classes, drop-in activities like the Indoor Park are available. Keep your eye out for free classes and special family gatherings. Rentals: Private parties with as many as 200 people can be accommodated at the facility. The gymnasium, auditorium, or pool party rooms can be reserved.
