The Museum at Eldridge Street, a cultural and educational center on the Lower East Side, offers concerts, lectures, art installations, festivals, family programs, and other special events for the public at the landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue.
Guided tours offer visitors the opportunity to explore the architecture and spiritual significance of the landmark synagogue, hear stories of its immigrant founders, and learn about the history of the Lower East Side, a gateway to America.
School programs are offered Mondays through Thursdays between 10am and 4pm, and Sundays from 11am to 3pm; each lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
