Music Rhapsody, a children's music education program in operation since 1983, offers classes tailored for children ages three months to ten years. Music Rhapsody also offers a two-week summer camp program for kids ages six to 14 that includes instrument making, singing, dance/movement, musical theater, and group music performance. Guest performers entertain campers as well. Camp is held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1340 11th Street, Manhattan Beach (camp is not church-affiliated). Birthday parties include 45 minutes of music. Partiers can choose drum circles, Orff and percussion instruments, dance and movement, singing, musical storytelling, puppets, props and more. Fees start at $250.
