Great gym classes keep kids coming back session after session at My Gym; it's not unusual to have former Tiny Tykes (3-11 months) continue on to Waddlers(12-18 months), make their way through Gymsters and Gymsters Plus (19 months - 2.8 yrs), and end their parent participation classes as Terrific Tots (2.9-3.5 yrs).

There's a whole range of independent classes, too, for kids from age three up through nine. Classes run for eight week sessions; prices vary by age.

Energetic teachers and well-organized birthday parties, modeled after regular classes and supplemented with balloons, decorations, set-up, refreshments, and clean-up service, make these independently-owned fitness centers worth checking out.

Party Packages start at $300 for up to 20 children; $350 for 20-25 children. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required, and party dates fill up quickly.

My Gym also offers camps during many school breaks.
