My Gym is great place for kids to learn tumbling and social skills. Here kids have a chance to learn to different gymnastics skills(very beginner type moves) and have a chance to interact with other children. I think its great fun! I highly recommend it.

This was a great place to hold a first birthday if the child has a lot of friends and family. The staff was super professional (Priscilla) and was well worth it. My daughter had a blast and I also enjoyed myself...just make sure your guests arrive on time to maximize the entire party time.....

My daughter has been attending MyGym for 7 months (she's now 2), and we love it. The equipment is immaculate and top-notch ~ plus, they change the configuration every week, offering the kids new challenges. Many parents use this as a social hour for themselves, and don't encourage their children to participate in the various organized moments of the class ~ which is a shame, because the classes are designed to progressively acclimatize children to gymnastics moves that might otherwise be intimidating. There is also quite a lot of "free play" time for the kids to climb and explore the equipment. When parents encourage participation, you can really see the kids blossom into bravery over the course of the semester, with many trying new things that they would never have dreamed of just weeks before. Conversations with some of the parents and my daughter's own experience with MyGym prove that this carries over into life outside of class. Plus, there are songs, games and dances, and it's just a lot of fun. My daughter really looks forward to going every week. Some classes are over-crowded, some teachers better than others (Jaleeza and Priscilla are wonderful), so if your schedule allows, you should find the class that's right for your child. You are allowed 2 "make-up" classes per semester (which you can use if your child is sick, or just to try out a different day/time), and you can change to a new class mid-semester, space permitting. There are some classes in which one child repeatedly disrupts the class because the parent/caretaker allows the child to run wild. In those cases, I do wish that MyGym would step in to ask the parent/caretaker to take their child aside in order to keep the class functional. This is a pretty rare occurrence, however. You can contact MyGym for a free trial class. I believe that the price, although on the high side (now $150 per 8-week semester for a 1 hour class), is well worth it ~ provided you encourage your child to take advantage of the organized aspects of class, and don't just use it as an indoor playground.

Most of the time they make the kids sit around waiting for their turns and it is very slow-paced and boring. It might be OK for kids who are lazy, but for hyper kids I would save your money. It is very expensive.

Huge place with lots of mats, balls, music for kids to run around in and explore. My toddler has been going for a year now and he loves it. The staff there is wonderful - very warm, happy and encourating.

A friend with a 2-year old recommended this place to me...she had a birthday party there and said it was awesome. Seemed a bit pricey for me, but pretty much everything is taken care of for you. Fabulous to have the structured activity to take pressure off the hosts - the kids had an AWESOME time. I joined a regular weekly class for my 10-month old so he could expell lots of energy while learning to crawl,cruise and walk (not to mention somersalt, balance, swing - lots of physical development is encouraged.) It's an ever-changing, comfortable, carpeted space outside of our small SF house for him to safely explore, play, climb and crawl while interacting with other kids. All the parents there are really nice (as are the staff) and this is the perfect thing for cold or rainy winter days, especially for days when it gets dark so early! Worth the cost for sure.

My 18 month old is very active and has trouble sitting still for long periods. This class was perfect for him. The two minute circle time was also difficult for him during this class. However, the "free play" time was great. He also enjoyed the planned activites. He loved to crawl, run, and climb on the equipment.
