About Mystery Cafe Dinner Theater
Mystery Cafe Dinner Theater is an interactive mystery dinner theater, in which the audience gets involved in solving a mystery while enjoying a four-course dinner.
At the end of the evening, each audience member details on their sleuth sheet who they think did it and why... the person with the most correct answer is named the Super Sleuth of the evening and awarded a prize! Special mysteries for kids: a rock-star mystery Who Robbed Robbie?, for girls and mixed groups, and a skateboard story, Trouble for Tommy, for boys and mixed groups. Both plays are presented by a Detective (a professional actress) and everyone in the audience receives a part to read. They look for clues, examine evidence and try to solve the crime.
Mystery Cafe Dinner Theater takes place at two locations: Elephant & Castle, 161 Devonshire Street; and Ricardo's Restaurant, 175 North Street.

- I have been to many of the Mystery cafe shows. Some are pretty squeaky clean. Depending on the show there can be some innuendos and 'adult themes' but nothing worse than basic cable. Or the nightly news half the time for that matter. Monica Lewinsky ring any bells? There's no outright obscenities... and if the kids get the jokes then they already know more than the jokes will inform them of, y'know?
