This studio has a welcoming atmosphere and teaches with positive reinforcement. I'm VERY happy with it.

My ten year old son has been going to Navarrete's Academy for four years and he still loves it! Something really clicks with him at this place, and I believe in the teaching approach the instructors use for motivating the kids. We have recommended it to others.

This is a great place to learn Taekwando. The classes are fun but serious. Mr. Navarrete really knows his stuff, but it's the friendly, supportive and fun attmosphere that makes it worthwile. The huge majority of the students have been with Mr. Navarrete a long time - that's real testament to how much the kids respect and love his teaching style.

I've been an adult student here for over 2 years and the Navarrete's skill, patience and character are a big part of what's made taekwondo so fun and rewarding. They are great people and excellent teachers. Plus the facility itself is always clean and very well maintained. What makes Navarrete academy so great is that besides self defense techniques, kids also learn discipline, social skills and respect towards their peers, parents and teachers. They have 2 months theme cycles (like Respect, Discipline, Excellence, Attitude etc )and circle time to talk about it. The teachers are not only high ranking masters of Taekwondo but also truly wonderful teachers. Mr. Navarrete has a degree in psychology and spent years working with troubled youth. My son is going to Navarrete's academy for about 18 months now and all the parents I know at my son's class love and respect Navarretes.
