The post below was also posted on FB by Jim Wayne. Mr. Wayne's post is indeed very dramatic, but to say he was 'kicked out' is the complete opposite of what actually transpired. (We have electronic video.) The facts are: [1] I asked him to leave his stroller at the front of the store; (clearly posted on doors before entry); [2] he challenged my request; [3] I suggested a child's kicking legs and arms (as his was) would not insure a safe shopping experience and children can harm themselves against the fixtures; [4] he immediately left the store without listening to what I was trying to say. Just as I do not question his decision to not hold his child, our policy is not up for debate. It is regrettable that a few choose to take offense at what millions of people who do shop with us find reasonable, however, it does not entitle those like Mr. Wayne to be exempt from rules that protect his family and others. --Mimi Cruz, Manager, Night Flight Comics

Today we got kicked out of Night Flight comics for having an umbrella stroller. Not a double wide, not even a jogging stroller, but a thin, agile umbrella stroller that actually saves them from our baby messing up their shelves. Wow. Really? So, there are plenty of places to buy comics in Salt Lake: Black Cat Comics, Hastur Hobbies, Dr. Volts, I mean the list goes on and on. So, if you have a baby stroller, visit one of them. Thumbs down.

I went there with my husband and we ran into a bin of comics we were interested in but we were not familiar with them and we wanted to have a look at the inside of these comics, they happen to be in bags and you have to ask an employee to take them out (there are signs asking for it, even when you just step into the
store the employee tells you to let him know if you want to look at a comic because HE's gonna open the bags for you, that's their rule)
so that's what we did, we went to ask the cashier who was nice and
started to open the few we picked.
The manager came next to her employee and glanced at these comics and laughed and said "No i don't think you're gonna open all of them...", my husband started to tell
her that we can't just blindly buy something we don't know... She didn't let him finish she kept saying "Yes...yeah..." and then she added
something else which made us realize that she was on the phone and switched from us to someone else in the rudest way there is,
even the employee seemed embarrassed. Then she spoke to us again and laughed at us,
that was very disdainful and she kept saying we couldn't have a look at these comics...at what we're about to buy!...we just left... we certainly will not go back.

Customer service at Night Flight is terrible. I shopped here in the past and the store's management is so unfriendly and often outright rude, that I would suggest you go to any other local store instead of Night Flight. I would rather order something on-line and wait for the shipping than patronise this store.
