My son fell in love with Ms Laura when he was three and she told him about a famous Russian dancer, and two years later he still adores taking her ballet classes. She's extremely warm and engaging, and her enthusiasm is infectious. And she's brave as well as kind, putting on big productions a couple times a year so all the kids can be on stage. I can't speak highly enough of her myself, and if you asked my son, he'd say she's the best!

Ms. Laura exudes radiance, knowledge and love for her craft and for kids. She is full of energy, has an easy personality, infectious laugh, and draws her students in. The class takes place in the back of a quaint Noe Valley Church. Parents are encouraged to grab a quick bite and have a quiet moment to themselves during the one hour session. Our daughter has been with Ms. Laura for the past three years and is always so eager attend her class! During the past Winter Performance, Ms. Laura choreographed, mixed the music, and HAND-MADE all the gorgeous, colorful, imaginative costumes and accessories. Seeing the kid's self-confidence, muscle coordination and sheer creativity of it all was the highlight of the season for my husband and me. We recommend Ms. Laura's classes without reservation, and plan to attend as long as we are lucky enough to do so.

My daughter has been attending ballet instruction there for a year and Miss Laura is extremely patient, fun, and the kids just love it. My younger daughter will start this summer. I can't recommend these classes enough.

We LOVE Ms. Laura!!! Studying with Ms. Laura has been so good for our daughter. Over the past 2 years we've seen Fiona's balance, coordination, focus and self confidence improve dramatically. And Ms. Laura makes studying traditional ballet fun because Ms. Laura is fun!

Miss Laura genuinely loves kids! She is so patient and positive with her instruction. Class for the 4 year olds is fun (as it should be). She teaches the proper steps without being a tyrant about it. She is flexible about letting you try classes by the month until you find a good fit. Best part -- you drop off your child and have about 50 minutes to stroll 24th street for a coffee, book, shopping, etc...

The best thing about this class is teacher Laura. The kids love her and she gets them engaged and is completely dedicated to dance and her teaching.

For the past year, my daughter has been attending Noe Valley Dance Space. She not only loves her class but adores Miss Laura. She is always so excited to go to class. Last spring, I had the opportunity to see the annual spring recital and it was much greater than any of my expectations. Miss Laura really went out of her way to decorate the stage and give the whole production a more professional feel. It was simple but it made my daughter feel so special. The same goes for the Winter Recital. I am so glad I chose Noe Valley Dance Space for my daughter, while a real ballet school, it is also a very relaxed fun atmosphere. Miss Laura is not only a fantastic teacher but also a great role model for her students!

Miss Laura is the best. Breanna who has just turned 10 has been go to Miss Laura's for about 8 months and loves it. Miss Laura has the perfect temperment to teach children. She always has a smile on her face and always keeps the kids challenged.

In Ms. Laura's wonderful class, our kids are learning their first ballet steps in a non-threatening and fun environment where all are welcome. Ms. Laura is incredibly patient and very responsive to students' abilities. She helps each student find their comfort level while they learn the art of graceful balletic movement...Unlike other classes we visited before choosing this one, Ms. Laura's class does NOT try to intimidate very young students into submission!
