Noodles & Company is a wonderful place for a quick bite. Very kid friendly, many of their dishes are available in smaller sizes and they'll even divide entrees into two bowls so kids can easily share.
Noodles features noodle dishes (big surprise!), fresh veggies, soups, and salads from many corners of the globe, all sauteed fresh to order. Orders are placed at the counter and then food is brought to the table, hot and delicious, in less than ten minutes (it usually takes about five minutes). Chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu, broccoli, extra vegetables, or extra cheese can be added to any order for a small fee.
The experience is very casual and slightly noisy, so kids of all ages, and their parents, can be happy. Many locations have tables outside as well.
Noodles offers take-out service too. Noodle fans can call their order in or just order when they get there. The wait is typically around five minutes.

tips:
Sign up for the Noodlegram program: Participants receive an emailed coupon for a free entree when they join, and then free noodles on birthdays and other random occasions. You can sign up online or at the restaurant.
getting there:
From I-15, take the 12300 South exit and head east. The restaurant is on the north side of the street, in the same parking lot as Kohl's.
