Committed to producing "artistically demanding plays of high quality," the North Coast Repertory Theater (NCRT) does beautifully in a small, intimate setting. With just 194 seats in only six rows, there isn't a bad seat in the house.

In addition to a variety of theatrical productions, the NCRT offers a children's theater school.

The Theater School at NCRT is deeply committed to nurturing creativity and talent among young people, particularly those who have little exposure to theater elsewhere. Offering a multi-faceted array of cultural and educational programs, The Theater School serves children of all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds throughout San Diego County, and maintains a commitment to keeping program costs low to encourage participation from financially challenged youngsters.

During the summer, NCRT offers Summer Drama Fun Camp, where the young actors work on improvisation, movement, vocal work, music, script analysis, and memorization. At the end of the week-long camp, families and friends get to see the kids in action!

The Theatre School offers 3 sessions of classes, 3 productions, and a Summer Shakespearean Workshop.
