Northern Lights Celtic Dancers (NLCD) was founded in 1999 to promote Irish dance and culture in the Anchorage area in the form of step dancing, Ceili dancing, and team dancing. Dancers have the opportunity to learn solo and team dances, often performed in competitions (feis) or at public venues. Classes are offered for children as young as three.
