Northwestway Park's 117 acres include a 135,000 gallon outdoor aquatic center with a zero depth entry and a fan-shaped area offering various play features (geysers, dumping buckets, and an in-pool spray shower); four slides for all ages (including the largest body slide in the Park's system); a 25-yard three lane swimming area; and large deck and grass sunning areas with chairs/lounges.

The park is also home to a large playground, picnic shelters and tables, four half basketball courts, soccer fields, an 18 hold disc golf course, and baseball and softball fields.
