New York International Children's Film Festival's mission is to encourage the creation of passionate, intelligent, artistic film and video productions for children ages three to 18, and to build an audience for these works.

The 2011
NYICFF Opening Night Gala: Mars Needs Moms 3D includes an exclusive preview screening of Disney's new 3D space adventure comedy based on the beloved book by Pulitzer Prize-winner Berkeley Breathed.
The 2011
NYICFF Awards, Best of Fest, and Closing Night Party features an awards ceremony, encore screening of winning films, and wrap party (additional fee) with hors d'oeuvres, delectable treats for kids of all ages, and an open wine and beverage bar. And each guest receives a NYICFF goodie tote bag stuffed with gifts and prizes.

annual festival,
NYICFF screenings are held throughout the entire calendar year at various venues, and as of April 2010,
NYICFF offers
weekly screenings at the IFC Center, every Saturday and Sunday at 11am.
