The Old Boise Historic District is a walkable area of downtown Boise comprised of a variety of restaurants, shops, museums, galleries, and more. Some places that we really enjoy are Ceramica (a paint your own pottery store), the Old Boise Guitar Company (new and used stringed instruments, and lessons so the instruments don't just sit around collecting dust), the Basque Museum and Cultural Center, and yummy restaurants like The Melting Pot and Guido's Original New York Style Pizzeria. Metered parking on the streets, public parking garages, and customer parking lots are available in various locations throughout Old Boise. A parking map is provided on the shopping district's website.
