At one time the
Old Corner Bookstore was the stomping ground for Longfellow, Emerson, Hawthorne, Thoreau, and Oliver Wendell Holmes. Today, it's a Boston Globe store. Apart from its association with the
Freedom Trail, there's really nothing for the kids here. The place looks like any other nice, independent bookstore. It is handy, however, if you also want to shop for books.
