The Old Eagle School, a Pennsylvania historic site, was established in 1788 as a general meetinghouse for religious and educational purposes. Adjacent to the school is a graveyard containing the remains of local residents and soldiers who died at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-1778.
tips:
There is limited parking at the school. Several private homes also use Private Way, so try not to block the road with your vehicle. Additional parking can be found one block south at the Goddard School (weekends only).
getting there:
The school is located on Old Eagle School Road in Strafford, just north of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) and the Strafford Train Station, and south of Deepdale and Croton Roads.
