You at least have to consider staying at Opryland if you're visiting Nashville - it's definitely an attraction in and of itself! The hotel features not one, not two, but three outdoor swimming pools and a 4.5 acre indoor river and garden. During the winter holidays, the property is strung with more than two million lights. With nearly 3,000 guest rooms, it's easy to get lost (introduce the kids to the concierge), and the rooms may seem a little disappointing when compared with the opulence of the lobby, but they're perfectly comfortable, and you're not visiting Nashville to stay in the room, after all.
