It's no wonder that this is the Portland's premier destination for science exploration - it's home to the
USS Blueback,
OMNIMAX Theater, and
Kendall Planetarium.
The Earth Science Hall includes watershed, weather, and paleo labs. In the Tech Lab, explore cyberspace on Macintosh and PC
computers. Chemistry, laser, and physics labs can be found in Turbine Hall, while you can get a view of the
Rat Cam in the Life Science Hall.
For the younger set, stop into
Science Playground's Animal Secrets where kids under six can discover the hidden habitats and secret lives of forest creatures, including raccoons, chipmunks, bears, and eagles.
