About Oregon Zoo
Surrounded by lush forests in the city center, this 64-acre zoo is the perfect place to get close to your favorite animals. Bears, cats, primates, and sea life are only a few of the species you'll find. Noteworthy exhibits include the African rainforest (complete with thunderstorms every half hour), elephant museum, and insect zoo. Feed the lorikeets and pet pygmy goats, and be sure to purchase an ZooKey to participate in an interactive self-tour.
The Oregon Zoo offers many classes and camps for children and adults. Indoor and outdoor overnight adventures, as well as day camps, are excellent ways to explore nature. Programs are designed for specific age groups.
Birthday Party packages are also available.
