What's a rainbow cone, you ask? The founder of this little emporium, Joseph Sapp, dreamed as a child of getting more than one flavor of ice cream on the spoon for his penny (yes, it was a long time ago). The five-flavor Rainbow Cone, the dream's fulfillment, is a medley of chocolate, pistachio, strawberry and Palmer House (a vanilla/cheery/walnut mix), with a layer of orange sherbet for good measure.

For those not chasing the rainbow, the shop also serves up shakes, sundaes, and floats. Ice cream cakes are available, too, for those with the foresight to order in advance.
