about Orlando Paintball:

Looking to send dad and the kids off for an afternoon of physical activity and flying paint? No, this isn't a bad day at Home Depot - it's Orlando Paintball.

The complex offers the largest indoor/outdoor paintball facility and pro shop in Florida. Courses include two indoor warehouses where kids can play games like Capture the Flag, Alien, Protect the President, and more. Outdoor courses are more numerous, and teams compete in different scenarios chosen by the referees.

Players need only to arrive at the facility, rent equipment (or bring their own), and sit tight as teams are determined by the referees. Then it's off to shoot tiny pellets of colored paint at moving human targets. Referees try to keep teams equal, so there is the possibility that your party may be separated and you may be playing against a family member or friend.

Admission is for the whole day, so it is best to arrive early to take advantage of the time. Most players tend to play until they run out of paintballs or are just too exhausted to keep going. Games last about ten minutes, with five minute breaks in between - just enough time to grab a drink.

The complex has restrooms, but strongly encourage kids to use the facilities before leaving home since cleanliness is not always top of mind. Vending machines are also available, but packing a cooler with drinks is more affordable - especially in the summer months when running around the non-air conditioned warehouses can lead to dehydration.

Birthday Parties: Kids - and parents - within three days of their birthdays can play for free with ID. Guests receive the standard semi-automatic package which includes gun rental, mask, admission, and free pizza with a reservation.

tips:

Paintballs must be purchased on-site. No outside paint is allowed - and referees will check - so bring extra money to cover the cost.
