Looking for fabulous family theater in Orlando? As a professional theater for family audiences in partnership with the University of Central Florida, Orlando Repertory Theatre offers a full calendar of shows and educational programs for children, teens, and families.

Shows at the theater in beautiful Loch Haven Park rotate each season and focus on classic and contemporary children's literature. Familiar characters come to life on stage in front of amazed and entertained audiences and kids can't wait to return for the next new family stage show.

Classes: The Youth Academy offers a wealth of theater-related classes for children ages four and above. A sampling of courses includes Kinderdrama for four and five year olds and parents, teaching social interaction through stories, nursery rhymes, and theatre games. Improv instructs students how to develop comedy skits while thinking on their feet.

High schoolers can participate in Monologue Workshops, and students of all ages are encouraged to take voice lessons.

Clubs and Parties: The Rep's Kids' Club offers members backstage tours, free tickets, special events, and more for kids who just can't get enough of the theater. The cost for membership is $10. Members also serve on the Kids' Advisory Council, offering suggestions and ideas on how to continually improve the theater experience.

Birthday parties may be held at the theater, where the lobby is set aside for your group before or after the show. Discounted tickets to the show are available, and you will need to provide your own food and party materials. Call 407.896.7365, ext. 1 for more information.
