P.F. Chang's is a national restaurant chain offering upscale, but family-friendly, Chinese food. They rightly pride themselves on their flavorful dishes and attentive service. If having trouble figuring out what to order, the waiter is right there to give you a hand with suggestions. Some dishes amuse the kids more than others since they involve the child. The Lettuce Wraps are a perennial favorite with both adults and kids, who think making and eating a lettuce "sandwich" is a kick. Similarly, Mu Shu Pork, is served with thin pancakes, sauce, and a tasty pork and vegetable mixture. Diners construct their own own rolled up pancakes, using the various ingredients. This dish has a high "messy to eat" factor - which makes it all the more kid-friendly. The portions tend to be smaller, and more expensive, than a run-of-the-mill Chinese restaurant, but as the long lines will prove, it is worth it.
