Painted Earth Pottery offers an opportunity for visitors to paint-their-own pottery or to throw a piece on a pottery wheel, on a walk-in basis. Finished pottery pieces are usually ready to be picked up in about a week. Parties for children ages five and up, can be held in the studio - or at a location of your choice. Painted Earth Pottery has Parties to Go where you can pick up all the supplies you need, then bring the completed items back to be fired. Party options also include a unique Adopt a Pig Party, where kids paint a piggy bank, and even receive adoption papers. During spring and summer vacations, Painted Earth Pottery schedules classes for kids (ages six and up) on Thursday afternoons. Advance reservations are required.
