The Children's Theatre program serves children and young adults ages four to 24 years. Throughout the past 75 years, the Theatre has provided programs for audiences and participants including radio, television, film, and video as each became a special interest.
The goal from the start has been to educate young people in all theater arts, including acting, dance, set design and construction, costuming and make-up, the design and use of sound and light systems, and performance direction and production. The theater is included in the textbooks and history books on Children's Theater in America.
Classes: Include Story Acting (ages four to five); Playing Along (ages six to eight), and Acting 1 (eight to 10). Call 650.463.4930 for program information.
