A special theater built in the art deco style and beautifully restored. Hosts concerts, films, and stage shows.
Tours are held the first and third Saturday of the month and begin promptly at 10am at the Box Office entrance, on 21st Street near Broadway. The tour lasts about two hours and provides a full and informative view of the Theatre. Cameras are allowed. Admission is $1 per person. Children must be at least 10 years old and adult chaperones are required.
Private group tours may be scheduled during regular Theatre office hours. For private tours, the fee is $50 for groups of up to 30 people, and $100 for groups of 31 to 60 people. To make private tour arrangements, please call 510.893.2300, ext. 801

getting there:
From San Francisco: Cross Bay Bridge to I-80; take I-580 E to Downtown Oakland/Hayward-Stockton & Hwy 24; Continue on 580, Macarthur Fwy; go right on ramp at 980W to Downtown Oakland. Go left on 27th, right on Telegraph, left on 21st. The Paramount is right next to three parking lots.
