The Park City Museum makes learning history fun and interesting - well, Park City history at least. Visitors explore stories and artifacts relating to winter sports, the Silver King Mine, stagecoaches, and an old territorial jail.
Docent-led tours are available by appointment. The hour-long guided tours cost $15 per person, and include museum admission.
Families can check out a Family Backpack, which provides hands-on activities that help younger kids bring the history to life.
The museum's gift shop offers books on local history, t-shirts, photographs, and limited edition Christmas ornaments.
Memberships to the museum help support the Park City Historical Society.
