Hidden away from the city bustle, Parkville Nature Sanctuary is a great place to take the family for a hike with its beginner friendly trails and scenic variety that includes a pretty waterfall, forest area and prairie.

Community hikes are scheduled throughout the year and a nature day camp for kids ages eight through ten is held during the summer.

The park entrance is located behind the Parkville City Hall on Highway 9.
