The all-kid menu and playful atmosphere at this neighborhood café will have you looking forward to the next visit. Parents enjoy the stay-all-day attitude and all-you-can-drink coffee. Kids and parents alike appreciate the sippy cups, toddler utensils, and bibs that are offered. You'll even find the changing table fully stocked!
The menu offers lots of choices that include fresh-ground, organic peanut butter. Favorite items include The Hounddog, peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich, and Ants on a Log and Peanut Butterflies, peanut buttered celery and carrot sticks topped with raisins and pretzels. You'll also find other kid staples like grilled cheese and BLTs, as well as two soup specials a day.
Best of all, kids are encouraged to feel free to play as long as they stay. Build a tower with the wood blocks or organize the magnets that adorn the counter. On dry days, step outside to the picnic area for art, gardening, and other outdoor activities.
Parties: Birthday celebrations include peanut butter sandwiches (always cut in quarters), veggies and dip, drinks, balloons, decorations, a craft activity, and cake (six flavors to choose from). Very best of all, Peanut Butter and Ellie's does all the set-up and clean-up!
Play groups are invited to meet here, too. For as little as $14 you'll get everything a party reservation offers, minus the decorations, activity, and cake. All parties require a reservation one week in advance and the restaurant recommends that they not be scheduled during the lunch rush.
