Built in 1923, Peery's Egyptian Theater (PET) has gone through many remodels, the most recent one occurring in 1997. It now serves the community as a performing arts/movie theater. The theater seats 855 patrons on the main level, and another 22 in private boxes.

Tours of the theater are offered free of charge to groups and individuals. Call 801.395.3242 to schedule a tour.

In general, children are welcome at the theater as long as they are old enough to sit quietly. For evening performances the theater recommends that children be at least eight years old. Royal Family Discovery performances are appropriate for all ages. Everyone must have their own ticket and seat; no babes in arms.

PET's box office is the first door south of the main theater entrance. Box office hours are 12n to 6pm Monday thru Friday and on Saturday performance days. It also opens 90 minutes prior to a performance for show-specific ticket sales and for Will Call pickups. For ticket info, call 801.395.3227. For performance info, call 801.395.3205. Several parking areas are available nearby, as well as ample street parking. Make sure to check time limits for street parking.
