Philadelphia Children's Theatre (PCT) is a professional, nonprofit theatre company that specializes in producing adaptations of classic children's literature for young audiences. The organization was founded in 1998 with the firm belief that children are an extremely discerning audience, deserving of a theatre company that produces intelligent and thought-provoking stories that are worthy of its young people. PCT therefore employs professional artists and local actors of the highest quality, and aims to provide theatre experiences that are alive, touching, engaging and enlightening. PCT provides Study/Parent Guides that contain engaging, challenging, and inspiring information that can be shared with young theatre-goers before and after attending a show.
