about Philadelphia City Institute:

The underwater-themed children's section of the Philadelphia City Institute has an excellent collection of storybooks in foreign languages, including Russian, German, Hebrew, Spanish, and Chinese. The branch also has a very busy programming schedule, so check with the library for a complete schedule.

All Free Library of Philadelphia branches offer a LEAP After School Program, which provides homework assistance, computer literacy, library skills, and enrichment activities for school-age children and teens (grades one through 12). Call the branch for details. Every branch also provides two preschool computers with educational games and activities.
